Set In 1964, when the death of his wife, Ip Man discovers he has throat cancer due to smoking. After his revolutionary son Ip Ching fights assist neighboring a bully, he gets expelled, and Ip decides to travel to San Francisco, associated States to see for a school. Wan is seriously upset from the fight when Geddes. Ip, filled when emotions, finally reveals to his son that he has cancer, which finally allows him to talk to his daddy more than the phone after many attempts by Ip. Ip is brought into the Marines' camp by Hartman, and defeats Geddes in a fight.
